Here at New Providence Presbyterian Church we help children grow in their faith in Jesus by building community, teaching the Bible, and providing outreach/service opportunities. It is our prayer that through Sunday Nursery, Sunday School, Youth Club, Kids’ Club, and VBS, children will learn to connect with God in a personal, meaningful way while forming relationships with one another.

Sunday Mornings

9:00 AM

Young children (birth through Kindergarten) are invited to join us for play, music, and interactive activities during the 9 AM service run by our Nursery Coordinator and our caring volunteer team.

10:30 AM

Children all ages are invited to join us for our Bible-based, fun, interactive Sunday School during the 10:30 AM service. We have a team of trained, dedicated volunteers who are committed to getting to know the children while helping them grow in their faith through Bible, music, video, games, crafts, activities, and discussion. We hope your children will join us! Here are the age/grade groupings: Nursery (Birth through age 3); 4 years old – Kindergarten; 1st – 3rd Grades; 4th -5th Grades

Activities During the Week

Youth Club - Thursday 4:00 - 6:00pm for 3rd – 5th grade (September - end of March)

Youth Club is our Thursday afternoon program for kids in grades 3 - 5. Each week students enjoy Bible Study, a hands-on Experiencing God class like Cooking or STEM, dinner and fellowship with friends!

Kids Club - Thursday 4:00 - 6:00pm for Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade (September - end of March)

Children learn about God through creative Bible teaching as they rotate through different activities.

Weekday Playgroup/Preschool & Kindergarten

Playgroup - for 1 – 3 yrs old (September - June)

Our Playgroup is a non-profit church ministry for the community. It provides supervised “free play” with a staff ratio 4-1. You may enroll for morning or afternoon sessions weekly, daily or drop-off, if available. Presbyterian Church Preschool & Kindergarten - for 2 1/2 years - Kindergarten

Your child will learn and grow in a fun, creative environment where they can develop personally, socially, scholastically and spiritually. Meet our Children's Ministry Director

Christine Voegeli is a native New Jerseyite who joined the staff in 1999. She loves working with children and especially loves sharing Jesus with them and watching them grow in their faith. Christine oversees all children's ministries from birth through 6th grade at both the NPPC and NCC campuses
